Elf Gang
Elf Gang provides opportunities for 4th, 5th and 6th grade children to experience Christian fellowship, nourishment and discipleship. This is accomplished through spirit-filled, fun group activities that promote and encourage Christian values, Bible studies that nurture and challenge faith, and mission opportunities that allow us to respond to God’s love and put our faith in action. All Elf Gang activities target the emotional, developmental, physical and spiritual needs of this specific age group.

Faith Files
Faith Files is a mid-week ministry for the Elf Gang! We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:45-7:45 p.m. during the school year in Room 421. We play games, enjoy puzzles, and learn Bible stories. We dig into our Bibles and memorize Bible verses. Sometimes we use video clips or act out Bible dramas. We have tons of fun exploring the Bible with our friends – come join the gang for Bible study, fun and friends!
Human Sexuality Seminar
Elf Gang children and their parents are invited every other spring to participate in the United Methodist Human Sexuality Seminar. “Created by God” is a study of human sexuality with a Christian foundation. It offers both parent and child an opportunity to learn, grow and celebrate the fact that we are wonderfully created by God and are called to responsible living as sexual beings. This Friday evening-Saturday afternoon seminar helps open the lines of communication between parents and children in an easy and comfortable manner.
Kids for Kids Missions
Mission opportunities for children are provided to enable our children to explore and understand the needs of children less fortunate. Our children actively live out their faith by reaching out in Christian love and caring for other children.
Scouting
Guilford College United Methodist Church supports an active scouting program for girls and boys. The Scouting program provides leadership in the church and community. Check out the church calendar for scouting events!
