Made For A Mission

“The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me – to tell people the Good News about God’s grace.”           -  Acts. 20:24  (NCV)

God wants to use you God wants to use you to express His love to others in every way imaginable until everyone gets the message!  Sometimes God wants us to use words to tell others about this Good News.  At other times God wants us to tell others about the Good News through our actions and service.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US is called to serve in mission and ministry . . . and this is your invitation to get involved!  The beauty of serving is the impact it has on our lives.  Serving builds energy, passion, and joy as we see transformation in the lives of those we serve.

So dig in today and find a place to serve.  There are two major categories at Guilford College United Methodist Church.

Ministry on Campus The S.T.E.P. Assessment will help everyone grasp their own particular gifts, talents, personality and passion.  With that knowledge in hand, the S.T.E.P. Ministry has collected all of the ministry opportunities on campus so folks can easily determine the place they want to serve given the time and resources at their disposal.

Mission off Campus.  Guilford College UMC is involved in mission all across the Triad.  There are short-term and long-term opportunities; some are relationally driven while others are task driven; some require a level of expertise while others are needing the inexperienced novice.
