We look for God’s love in our lives as evidence that we have been truly worshipping Him. At GCUMC, worship is central to everything. Worship means learning to recognize God’s goodness while delighting to deepen our responses.

Join us on October 8th for a meal (at 5:00pm) and a special service (6:00pm) to celebrate Hispanic heritage month! The service will be a Word and Table bilingual service hosted by our new faith community Brazos Abiertos. We will have a sermon by guest preacher Rev. Ismael Ruiz-Millán (Heritage District Superintendent). We have created a special liturgy around La Misa Nica, a Nicaraguan mass written out of resistance against a dictatorship in Nicaragua. Some of the elements of our service will be from La Misa Nica, and the others are inspired by the celebration of Hispanic heritage month and the theme of a people who have survived a history that was never on their side. Please join us and invite a friend!
Join our Crop Walk 2023 team! Together with others we will work to end hunger, one step at a time. The Crop Walk supports Church World Service to fight hunger worldwide, and also our local Greensboro food ministries to feed the hungry here at home. Our team has set a fundraising goal of $1500! Click the button below to access online registration or make a donation if you are unable to join our walking team.
Hang tight while we look up scheduled events...

None of the work we do at our church would be possible without God moving the hearts of our people to give. Your generosity helps create a church where people feel welcomed, lead, and loved - a place where life-changing stories are being written every week. On behalf of those stories, thank you for giving from your heart.
We give because we have been blessed and because it is a blessing to us, not for fear of anything negative in our lives. We give out of gratitude and love! You can give your gift safely and securely online - this is one of the easiest ways to give to our church. Thank you.
