At GCUMC we seek to respond to God's amazing, life-changing grace in Jesus Christ by loving God, loving one another, by loving all our neighbors, and by loving ourselves in Jesus' name. All of this only happens because of your God-inspired generosity. We thank God for all of you who give of yourselves and who live beyond yourselves to help us to be the body of Christ, and to fulfill Jesus' beautiful calling through our church.
Here you can complete your 2024 Giving Commitment securely and easily online through REALM. This is the easiest and preferred method for completing your giving commitment. We thank you for your generosity.
We look for God’s love in our lives as evidence that we have been truly worshipping Him. At GCUMC, worship is central to everything. Worship means learning to recognize God’s goodness while delighting to deepen our responses.

Enjoy a family friendly pancake breakfast and a festive morning on Saturday, December 9, from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Children will meet Mary and Joseph and hear about their travel to Bethlehem while enjoying kid-friendly activities to welcome the baby Jesus.
In the Hispanic tradition of Latin American countries, especially in Mexico, one of the oldest celebrations is Las Posadas. It takes place during Advent. It is a preparation for, and anticipation of, the birth of the Savior, commemorating the nine months when Mary carried the infant Jesus in her womb and emphasizing his coming again and the need of all persons for repentance and God's mercy.
Come hungry and with a dish to share for our annual Christmas brunch at 9:30 in the Fellowship Hall. This is followed by the Christmas Carol Sing-a-Long music service at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. This special time of worship is presented by the Chancel Choir, Handbell Ensemble, and local musicians: truly a morning not to miss! One Sunday worship service only on this date.
The Advent and Christmas seasons are a truly special time at Guilford College UMC. December is full of opportunities to connect with others, worship, go deeper in your faith as you look forward to the birth of Jesus, and simply have fun with the festivities. There are events and offerings for all ages and stages of life. Click the button below to go to our page housing all things Advent & Christmas!

None of the work we do at our church would be possible without God moving the hearts of our people to give. Your generosity helps create a church where people feel welcomed, lead, and loved - a place where life-changing stories are being written every week. On behalf of those stories, thank you for giving from your heart.
We give because we have been blessed and because it is a blessing to us, not for fear of anything negative in our lives. We give out of gratitude and love! You can give your gift safely and securely online - this is one of the easiest ways to give to our church. Thank you.
