Authentic Worship

We look for God’s love in our lives as evidence that we have been truly worshipping Him. At GCUMC, worship is central to everything. Worship means learning to recognize God’s goodness while delighting to deepen our responses.

Service Times

Sundays 8:30-9:30am

Traditional worship in the Sanctuary (9am on Easter)


Sundays 11am-12pm

 A "blended" (including both contemporary and traditional elements) worship service in the Sanctuary.  We livestream this service here on our website, YouTube, and Facebook.

Celebrate With Us: Fellowship Hall Opens Feb 1st, 2026!

On Sunday, February 1st, you are invited to stop by between 9:45am and 10:45am to tour our newly renovated Fellowship Hall area and to share in an Open House with refreshments.  Then, make plans to return that Sunday afternoon at 4pm for a Service of Dedication in the new space that will include special music, prayers of thanksgiving and consecration, a message from Pastor Jeremy, and the presence our new Northern Piedmont District Superintendent, Rev. Rodvegas Ingram. Come celebrate together!

  • Celebrating 45 Years of Greensboro Korean UMC!

    January 8

    7pm

    Greensboro Korean UMC is celebrating their 45th anniversary with a concert.  The Methodist Theological University Choir from Seoul, South Korea will be performing at Greensboro Korean United Methodist Church on January 8th 2026 at 7 pm. Admission is free.  Greensboro Korean UMC is located at 2504 E. Woodlyn Way, GSO, 27407.

    SAVE THE DATE:  Friends & Family of Guilford College Methodist Church will be going to see the Greensboro Swarm as they play the Osceola Magic Knicks on Saturday, January 17th at 6 pm at the Novant Fieldhouse! If you'd like a ride to the game, meet at church to ride the van at 5:15pm.

    NEW DATE: FEB 21

    9am

     Volunteers needed on Saturday, February 21st, from 9 am to 12 pm to pack meals. These nutritious meals will be sent to places in the world where food is scarce.  Please plan to join us.  Look for sign ups and further details in 2026!  If you are able please sign up to volunteer online and check the liability release waiver.  Click the photo to go to the site.
