Advent is the season of preparation and expectation leading to the celebration of Christmas--or the birth of Jesus. For four weeks before Christmas each year, many Christians set aside time for prayer and getting their hearts ready for Christmas. Advent, in the United Methodist and many other traditions, is considered the beginning of the Christian Church year. We would love to see you this season as we celebrate!
