    Group for women, primarily middle aged and younger, meeting wherever you are during the lunch hour!  Meets on Mondays at noon via ZOOM. *The time and day can be shifted once the group is formed if the need arises*

    Intergenerational group for men.  This faithful set spans all adult life-stages and frequently has discussions about larger life-application topics in addition to the weekly message.  Meets on Mondays at 7:00 via ZOOM.  Weekly.

  • women's 55+ group

    Faithful group of middle-aged and older women. This group is excellent for long-time members of the GCUMC family and newcomers alike. Meets on Mondays in the leader's home. 7:00pm.  Weekly.

  • The Golden Girls: Women supporting women

    This is a group for retired women, and is welcoming to all "golden" women seeking the friendship and support of other faithful ladies. Meets on Tuesdays at the church. Afternoon.

    These (mostly retired) guys meet for breakfast and lively conversation each week. Meets on Wednesdays at 8:00am. Panera on Highwoods Blvd.

    This group is meant to accommodate the schedules and challenges of parenting teens and young adults.  Anyone caring for teenagers and older are welcome! Meets at the church on Mondays at 6:30pm.

  • senior aged  "Grumpy old men"

    This group is for senior men, who aren't really grumpy... 

    They meet at Panera on the first and third Thursday mornings of each month.  The Grumpy Old Men are currently at capacity, but if you're interested in joining with them, contact Laurin Allred.

  • Open to All

    Open and welcoming to all people across any age or life stage.  Designed with the hope of forging intergenerational friendship and spiritual growth, this group remains "open" throughout the year as a place for new friends to join the journey.  Meets Thursday 7pm at the church.

  • Newcomer's Journey

    Open and welcoming to newer people at GCUMC who want to go deeper in faith and friendship. This group is designed to be a bridge into deeper connection and friendship at GCUMC. Journey alongside other new folks and a few who've been around a while.


    This group alternates Wednesdays with Pastor Jeremy's Disciple School so that after the Wednesday Welcome Table meal you can participate in both a Journey Group and other Wednesday evening activities. 

    Wednesdays, 6:45pm at the church. Twice-monthly.
